As most of you should already know, NFO will either update/has updated to newest server version of Ventrilo
When released, 3.0.0 will be available from the downloads page at http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php. We recommend that you download the new client as soon as it is available so that you will be ready to install it when the server is upgraded. Make sure not to install it ahead of time, however, as that will prevent you from connecting to the existing server while it is still version 2.3.
Please let us know if you have any questions or comments on this upgrade or on anything else.
Thanks,
John
Email from NFO, so if your having ventrilo problems, this is why, you need 3.0.0. I am sure however that you hardcore vent users are already updated.
Ventrilo will be pending both a server side and client side 3.0.1 update. In this update is the option to remove the GUEST tag from server settings. Bare with us as we are still learning the entirely new administration system
