Slow news days heh?

What, no news? I find myself only one posting news lately. Makes me wonder.

Anyways, recently the generals agreed to a few new colonels and congrats to those three members that were promoted.

Atari
ChocolateBunny
IVIano

Soo congrats to those members.

As many of you know activity has picked up on our eastern realm battle.net wise. HOWEVER it can only stay up if we continue this on going trend of activity. I know spring break is coming up for many of you members, or you might have already had your "spring break" this past week. That should help activity out greatly but its not enough.

Our warcraft III division has taken quite a few hits lately, since the new year anyways.

In order to remedy these problems, we have combined OD and ODWC channels (or for some odd reason still in this process ...)

I encourage all members that are still particpating under/on the Clan ODWC tag to drop your tag and get invited to Clan OD.

I also want to say, many warcraft gamers in this clan always make this case to "warcraft players dont like seeing brood war/diablo players in a clan channel". Now this is always been debated, and I have always debated against it, but OverDosed is not a warcraft III only clan. If a player can not except diveristy in our clan, then a player shouldnt be in this clan at all. We are all one clan, not seperate parts of a organization brought together by a website. To end all, if your a warcraft player and just dont like the diversity and are not willing to accept the fact that Battle.net isnt warcraft III only, this isnt the place for you. Many other clans in our structure have compiled some great warcraft III divisions, having brood war and diablo 2 in their channels was NOT a problem to their recruiting and growth of those divisions. They did it through hardwork and activity, not by trying to split up the clan with seprate channels and such. Clan LTK was once a power house in warcraft III. Clan 13th Army was once a power house in warcraft III. The agruement of warcraft III players and channels is starting to lose more and more creditbility everytime I hear it.

Now I want to bring up "tournies" in OverDosed.

Many of you guys are under the impression you have to be warrant officer to host a tourney in our clan? WRONG, to host a tourney in OverDosed, all you gotta do is organize it, produce brackets and thats that. Hell, if your a trial member and you want a for sure way of getting into OverDosed on Brood War/Diablo II/Warcraft III, I highly suggest you host serveral tournies during your trial period, I will vote for you instantly, that shows dedication and hard work. That shows the kind of member I would like to see enter our clan.

Now to host a tourney on OUR WEBSITE, you must be warrant officer one or higher, and that most likely will be changed to staff sgt. very soon. I feel that since you been in OverDosed for just over a month you should be allowed to use our INCOMPLETE TOURNEY SYSTEM.

I always have said never use our website tourney system, only because its just soo unorganized and such, I always suggest if your going to make/host tournies use Battlereports. To help people out, I will provide a direct link on our site to Battle reports for those wanting to host tournies. This should help increase activity of tournies. Tourney rules are left up to the host of the tourney.
