Slow news days heh? (Contd.)
Now about World of Warcraft
*Yawns*, most of you dont care about this game as you dont have it/play it. However it is part of our clan and needs to be addressed.
Since we added this game to the clan, we havent had a SINGLE WOW RECRUIT. I have a feeling its due to how the game was created. Nothing against WoW, I like the game and play it quite activitly.
Soon, I plan on talking to the rest of the generals, specificly the ones that play WoW and think of our recruiting policy for WoW. Quite frankly, we dont have one and for the most part we dont have a clue as to how to recruit these players.
Soon, OD Horde Squad on Kel'Thuzad server will be testing out a system that we hope is promising to both provide our in game guild with active players along with possibily bringing in more members to OverDosed. Along with this I've toyed with the idea of splitting up the WoW forum on our site, heh, its about 50/50 either way, but in the long run I feel it would help overall recruiting for our clan. That same idea of splitting the forum has also entered my head for the diablo 2 forums. This idea, while the leaders of our WoW squads are generals and already moderators would give members that lead their squads even more control of their forum. Soo in the future, leaders of these squads can manage them even better then before.
Now ODNL.
This is getting quite boring, ODNL was formed and since it was taken out by Un)Holy, which I still havent gotten over about, we havent had a weekly recap of clan events, which hurts somewhat at the moment due to recoding of our logs system with the current lack of time stamps (which we hope to add soon).
Soo until I recieve the system ODNL will be running on and I have it installed, I want ODNL to compile a weekly report, starting with events from today, submit them to Bloody(OD) and he will a weekly recap on our news.
This means ODNL articles will lack a lot of writing, and really all I want posted weekly in the news will be, new members, promotions, demotions, resignations, disablements and possibly upcoming tourney information. Therefore it shouldnt be hard or a long process to do this. I DO NOT WANT SEPRATE POSTS ABOUT THIS, ONLY ONE POST BY BLOODY OR SOMEONE HE DESIGNATES TO POST THIS WEEKLY NEWS POST UNTIL ODNL RETURNS ON ITS WEBSITE
Since it will be on the news, I dont want articles, I want straight facts, when ODNL gets back up, your writing creativity can expand once again.
To help you guys out, start with logs after this one.
Staff Sergeant Zipperelli(OD) was disabled for having 8 days since last login
If someone is disable/demoted for DSL, you should know the website has changed time and date to the next day, That should help out on pointing out logs if you can point out disable/demoted DSL members. Might not always have these members, but it helps somewhat.
Other then that, I have nothing more, and hopefully others will start posting news. IF yo uwant to post news on our site but feel you might be punished, contact a general before doing so, ask them if its news worthy. They should use their own judgement and tell you yes or no.
