My recent IA..

Uh.. sorry guys, ive been kinda "IA" lately. Alot of things are going on right now for me, so eh.. i dunt know when i can be as active as before.

DATABASE UPGRADE
=================

Over the next 48 hours we will be upgrading all of our customers to a new,
dedicated database server. This will increase database performance for all
Globat customers by a significant margin.

The new hardware is a dual processor server with RAID drives to increase
performance and reliability. It will be dedicated to only running MySQL.

We are also upgrading our MySQL software to the latest version, 4.0.9. Newly
available to our customers are the high-performance database table types
“InnoDB” and “BDB”.

This upgrade does not require any intervention on your part. We will cleanly
shut down your database and back up your data, and then migrate it to the new
server. The downtime should be minimal, and your static website and other
hosting features in the meantime will be unaffected.

Nothing in your code requires any changes to take advantage of the new server.
